About Me
Hello there,
I’m Balmeet gill
I am an Industrial Design graduate with a BA (Hons). Throughout my academic journey, I discovered my strengths lie in effective communication and a genuine passion for elucidating concepts with a touch of creativity. I'm driven by the Ikigai philosophy—doing what I love, what I'm good at, and what the world needs.
I thrive in collaborative problem-solving, finding joy in team dynamics. As I embark on my career, I'm eager to contribute meaningfully to design, blending passion and skill. I look forward to the opportunities the future holds, embracing a continuous journey of learning and growth.

Introducing K.o.a
As a student furniture designer, we were asked to kindly come up with creative ways on how can we create a children's furniture that would be aesthetically pleasing towards the children.
K.O.A is a multi functioning children's furniture that is designed to be placed in a kids bedroom.
Easy to assemble, de-assemble or store for the parents.
A set of a table and a chair that would also be safe and would be fun to play around with for the children.
Introducing FLux
FLUX is a portable lamp that allows users to use it with a USB port cable.
This is because it allows us to connect to our power banks and charger heads easily to turn the lights on.
The design of FLUX is basically to make it user friendly and easy to hold on to so that they can carry it around anywhere they go and use it and anytime.
With that say it uses a minimalistic and simplistic design principle.
An open port hole for the power cable to go through.
A push to open button to be able to separate both sides.
Show the separation of both parts and how they come off.
A button slider that is use to adjust the brightness.
Introducing
The Connelly bench
The Connelly Bench was a group project made by us four during a Universal Design class. It's a park bench that has many different functions.
Targeted towards priority people and from youngsters to adults giving them multiple features on the bench to provide comfort and accessibility.
Easily accessible for priority people.
Walking cane slot holders.
Side table that acts as a hand rest too.
Top table to put items on & back is slanted for leaning purposes.
Eco-Vortex Hub
To ensure sustainably manage the usage of natural resources as it is running out. By taking a look at what the current issues are regarding the SDG goal in order to understand what is needed for all Malaysians.
A hub designed to reduce, recycle while also creating awareness with its 360 degree screen and have a rain water collector that collects the water and shoots out the nozzle to surroundings together with a built in solar pannels on each roof panels to power the tv and pump.
Surrounding water nozzle that is built under the top structure for surrounding cooling water spray.
A sensor is added above and a door is also added which works as when people approaches it then it opens. The door is there for the recycle shute so animals would not get in.
Rain water collection & Solar panels that are built into the top structure for water collection and energy saving.
On the top is a clean bumpy line to provide a more aesthetic view of it. 360 degrees screen in the middle for promoting awareness.
